My first attempts of creating art...

I used my connection with my mentor who helped by guiding and helping with advices. The way how that was organized – I sent her some of my paintings on Facebook and she gave me some recommendations by advising to watch some videos or sharing her personal opinion. That was not teaching but rather coaching, very sensitive guiding without pushing to try any particular technique or a tool. I took into account some advices but still spent a lot of time trying to find new ways of expressing my emotions on canvas. I made experiments with brushes, palette knifes and some other tools that I discovered on my own. The paintings were quite different however the main focus was always around abstracts. I truly believe that abstract is the most powerful tool to express emotions and feelings. My background is physics and mathematics, I hold PhD in physics focusing on theory of oscillation and the so-called controlled chaos. Why I mention that, because it helps to understand the nature of my art-works and understanding of abstract as I can see that. When you look at some of my art-works you may find some chaotic structure and fractals of lines, forms and colors. At the same time this is not a random set of lines, but rather chaos that produce a form of identifiable order or being born of identifiable order. Let me explain what I mean...
